Suhr's Classic S line brings together the best of two eras. These S-type guitars have the same feel, mojo and sound as old ones from the fifties and sixties. At the same time, John Suhr and his close-knit team have designed the series to be as reliable, clean and stable as possible. This way, even the most demanding guitarist can enjoy those undisputed, classic sounds and feel undisturbed!

The "classic" side of this S-type starts at the finish: 3 Tone Burst Sunburst! This finish, together with the chic parchment pickguard, makes this Classic S "classic", even before we talk about the specs! And there are some, starting with an extremely comfortable 60's C neck profile with medium frets. This combination is so comfortable that all your licks and ideas roll out of your hands effortlessly. And not only that; everything sounds dynamic, full and open, partly thanks to the vintage-voiced V60 single coils. As mentioned, every Classic S also has a contemporary side, which can be seen, among other things, in the unique SSCII noise canceling system. This means your single coils are free from that nasty 60-cycle hum. Ideal for recordings or performances, without batteries! In addition, your guitar stays in tune incredibly well thanks to the Tusq nut and Locking Tuners, even when you really use the tremolo; it has been carefully designed by Gotoh. It should be clear; this Classic S is an impressive mix between old and new!
