The Kernom Ridge is a very impressive overdrive and distortion that can sound like almost any circuit you can think of. With a modest set of six cleverly chosen controls you can make the Ridge sound like a transparent boost, a velvety overdrive or an aggressive, fuzzy distortion - and everything in between. The way the Kernom Ridge achieves this is largely down to the mood control. This controls the type of clipping of the overdrive. Further to the left, the clipping sounds "friendlier" with less "tear". Turn the knob further for a more biting, gritty overdrive. This control is completely stepless, so you can dial in the sweet spot for your guitar and amp combination.

The versatility of the Ridge doesn't stop there, as the pedal has an additional preset footswitch. In addition, you can call up another 128 presets via midi and you can control all parameters with an optional expression pedal. The Kernom Ridge is a true dream for overdrive lovers!
