Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb
A fresh take on the most famous amplifier ever: the Fender Deluxe Reverb
Every guitarist knows that Fender amplifiers are unrivaled for clean and crunchy work. For the guitarist looking for a vintage Fender tube tone, but with the reliability of a new amplifier, Fender offers the Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb. In 1968, Fender decided to switch to a new look, which became known as the silverface. This name is due to the silver-colored front panel and speaker cloth. However, the sound remained the same, making the Deluxe Reverb as popular as ever. The amplifier is relatively small and light, yet produces a great tube sound. In addition, the built-in reverb and vibrato effects are absolutely world-class. 22 watts through one 12-inch Celestion may seem modest, but don't let that fool you. Because this 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb can be loud. The 12AX7 and 12AT7 tubes in the preamp produce a familiar basic tube sound. Thanks to the 6V6 tubes in the output stage, the sound remains relatively clean and the Deluxe Reverb works very well with effects pedals. To optimally use the built-in effects, both at home and live, a 2-button foot switch is included. A protective cover is also included, so that the Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb can travel safely.
