Epiphone's legendary Texan, produced in the United States for the first time. Beautiful!

The Epiphone Texan is a guitar par excellence that evokes memories of the heyday of pop music. This time in a beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish with a beautiful warm tint: it is a picture to look at. The guitar got its present appearance in 1958 after Gibson took over the Epiphone brand. For example, the guitar got its characteristic J-45-like body shape and the back & sides were made of mahogany instead of maple. Thanks to the 25.5" scale - compared to the standard 24.75" scale that most Gibson guitars are known for - the Epiphone Texan has a very powerful, focused and tight tone. This sound lends itself perfectly to backing parts and it is therefore not surprising that the guitar became a much-seen companion for legendary songwriters such as (of course) Paul McCartney, Peter Frampton, Wizz Jones and later Noel Gallagher in the decades after its introduction . In 2020, the Texan will be made in the United States again for the first time since 1970, making this performance a very true-to-life reissue of the original that so many musicians have fallen in love with. To top it all off, the guitar is equipped with only solid wood, X-bracing and an LR Baggs VTC pickup system so that you are immediately ready for the stage. Includes luxury case.
