At NAMM 2020, Paul Reed Smith and John Mayer listened to the public and announced two brand new colors, of which this Midnight Rose is one of them. After its introduction, the Silver Sky became one of the most popular models in our store and the guitar is increasingly finding its way to many a stage and living room. For two years, Paul Reed Smith and John Mayer exchanged information and ideas, which ultimately resulted in this fantastic guitar. Inspired by vintage instruments from the '63 and '64, and with a big nod to the future because the guitar is finished with the advancements in technology that we know today, in which Paul Reed Smith himself played a major role. The result is a guitar that sounds and plays great…and looks cool too.
