Alhambra 2C

The number 1 teaching guitar with just that little bit more

Alhambra is recommended by many music schools and guitar teachers in the Netherlands and Belgium because of its accessible playability. This 2C acoustic guitar is part of the Alhambra student series. With these guitars, the action of the guitar (the distance between the string and the fretboard) is somewhat lower than with the guitars for the advanced guitarist.

The 2C model is based on the 1C model but with a number of upgrades; aesthetically we see an extra binding around the top which gives the guitar a luxurious look. The guitar also has a melamine nut and bridge, which provides a round and nuanced sound. As with all Alhambra guitars, the top is made of solid A+ wood, this one is cedar. In combination with the mahogany cabinet, this gives a lively sound suitable for multiple styles.

It is nice to know that this Spanish guitar was really produced in Spain in a company that has been making guitars for more than 50 years with an eye for the smallest details and attention to sustainability.
