A breakthrough in the world of amplifier emulations and impulse responses. The Strymon Iridium is equipped with three iconic amplifiers that have been modeled in a very realistic way by means of Matrix Modeling, each paired with three unique cabinet impulse responses. For example, the Round amp is based on an old-fashioned mid-scooped Fender Deluxe Reverb, the Chime amp on the Brilliant channel of the Vox AC30 and the Punch amp on a Marshall Super Lead 1959. So you never have to lug around heavy tube tops and large speaker cabinets: you always have your sound! The three-band EQ allows you to precisely adjust your sound as you would on a traditional amp, and with the Drive knob you can even set a true-to-life tube overdrive. Beautiful! With the Iridium you also send beautiful stereo sounds to the PA that fit wonderfully in a band mix, and you even have the option of adding a room effect to your overall sound.
